Did you know that Resident Evil has novels based on the games? While they're are many Resident Evil novelizations, the main focus here will be S.D. Perry's novelizations, which will include reviews of her books. Although the other novels will be featured, the main focus will be S.D. Perry's excellent renditions of the games.
Unlike the game series, the main character of the book series seems to be Rebecca Chambers. She appears in 4 of the books, more then any other game character, including the novelizations of RE1, RE0 and two original novels, which feature her prominently. An original novel-only character is present throughout the books. His name his Trent, and works from the shadows, aiding the central characters with his knowledge obtained through unknown means, who also seems to have a grudge with Umbrella. Unlike the movie-only character of Alice, Trent is not deemed more important then the game characters.
