The unofficial sequel to Resident Evil 2 continues Claire Redfield's search for her missing brother Chris, this time being imprisoned on Rockfort Island. After Chris learn's her whereabouts, he begins his search for her, running into his once deceased captain along the way. The game improved greatly on the Resident Evil formula, which seemed to be doing the same things over and over. Code: Veronica went onto huge critical acclaim, frequently being called one of the best survival horror games ever made.
